Next To Normal Opening Benefit

March 10, 2012

We know that theatre goers have the biggest hearts and that as we act together and support one another in our various projects, we develop into a kind of theatre family.

A respected local actor and friend, Bradford Garrison, recently passed away.

Please support our local “theatre family” in our fundraising efforts for the 2 young children who have been left behind. Midvale Main St. Theatre is donating all proceeds for our opening night of the Tony Award Winning musical Next to Normal this coming Thursday evening. This is a great way to see an amazing show and help out too!

Opening night is Thursday, March 15th. The show starts at 7pm.

We would love to see a full house there to support our friend and his family. We will be accepting donations throughout the two week run of the show if you aren’t able to make it to Thursday night’s performance.

Tickets are $15.

Please visit for tickets.

Next to Normal is directed by Tammy Ross

Starring Sara McDonald, Dustin Bolt, Cassidy Ross, Aaron Ford, Mason Holmstead, and Ryan Fallis

Thank you for making Hairspray a Huge Success!

January 28, 2011

Wow, what an incredible run this has been!  The Cast and Crew is exceptional, the Reviews have been great, and the audiences have had outrageous amounts of fun! Thank you all for making this run such a success. We are experiencing sell-out crowds and standing ovations as well as audiences who meet the cast after the show collecting autographs and hearts along the way!

Just look at what theatre reviewers have had to say: Utah Theatre Bloggers Association and Backstage Utah! We so appreciate your kind words as well as your advice on where and how to tweak a few things for the future. We hope you will come back again and again to enjoy our performances.

To our amazing cast, we are down to 3 performances…(one tonight and two tomorrow). It comes with a certain amount of sadness to see this magnificent event end. Having each and every one of you in your exact roll(s) has been nothing less than spectacular. I am so proud to include every one of you as members of my extended family. You are amazing, every one of you, and I hope to see you all again in rolls at the Midvale Main Street Theatre.

Now, let’s go take this show out with Sizzling Style!

Love and Gratitude to each and every one of you who has worked on, starred in, and supported this production.

Footloose at the Midvale Main Street Theatre

The first week of the Midvale Main Street Theatre musical performances of Footloose not only exceeded our expectations, the audience responses have been magnificent as well.

This production has a terrific mix of  actors in their debut performances from our own community as well as many who have polished their abilities over years of live theatre performing. Regardless of the amount of time they have previously spent on stage, the performances have been delightful.

It is truly a joyful experience to see such dedication to live musical theatre performances. Footloose is fun in the fact that it has small-town atmosphere, yet an entire High School worth of students. The roles, themselves, are energetic and relatable to issues we all deal with periodically in our lives. There are a lot of roles and those who perhaps did not have a lead role this time around, feel happy for yourselves! You are a part of a major team effort. Without you, the show would not be the same. Every one of you continues to be an important addition to our Footloose cast and we look forward to this next week of performances with great expectations, excitement, and gratitude!

A slideshow featuring members of the cast of Footloose during rehearsals may be seen here. Footloose!

We do still have tickets available online for our performances next week and hope you all will join us!
